Electronic Poker is a favored game that is able to be bet on in casinos all over the world, or in your house on your home computer, using a net connection. The regulations are absolutely simple and consist of the player attempting to achieve the best assemblage of cards as you can in order to win money. In this respect it is much the same as a normal game of poker, apart from the involvement with any other players. Of course, methods employed during a real-life game of poker, such as tricking, will be irrelevant here.
The game of Video Poker begins when the bettor puts credits (either tokens, credit slips or cash) into the machine and presses the deal button. A hand of 5 cards will be electronically ‘dealt’ on the video screen.
The Electronic Poker game also has hold buttons, and enthusiasts will need to now decide which cards to keep and which to discard. For the cards the bettor would like to keep, the ‘hold’ buttons need to be pressed so that they light up. The player can choose to keep any amount of cards they wish, whether it is all or none.
After the enthusiast has chosen which cards he would like to keep, the player will then press ‘draw’, at which point any new cards are needed they will be dealt. The game is now finished, with the Electronic Poker machine analyzing the hand to see if it matches any of the winning hands listed in the pay out schedule.
Normally, the minimum succeeding hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the prize money increasing for each better hand. A list of common winning hands starts with jacks or better, and moves on to two pairs, 3 of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and last but not least royal flushes. It is obvious that the pay out schedule can range from game to game, so that discerning players are able to pick the most profitable machine each time.
After the first round has finished, the player can either choose to remain on and try to to maximize their winnings, or they can press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any credits that they may have won. Additionally, a few styles of the game allow the player an opportunity to increase their profits, in which case a further round is played. There are also variations among specific machines, with some virtual decks having wild cards and other differing elements to increase playability.
